Nadia Nakai is currently going through a healing process after losing her lover Kiernan Forbes following a gruesome act in Durban. Kiernan was shot dead and the news of his death did not only rock South Africa but his loved ones as well.

As she venture on seeking solace, Nadia Nakai has visited her mother’s family in Zimbabwe and she expressed mixed emotion ahead of her visit. Taking to Instagram, the famed rapper shared a video clip on one of the Zimbabwean roads as she heads to her grandmother’s place.

“On my way to visit my Granny. A day filled with crying and restoration, I cant wait to get there,” wrote Nadia Nakai. Not only did she visit Zimbabwe to meet her family, but the rapper also took part in the 8th edition of the Changamire Festival Awards which were held at Long Cheng Plaza in Haarare.

The Recently, Nadia Nakai expressed that she is working towards connecting with God spiritually and find healing following a devastating start to the year. “Even in my pain I see God so much. God knows my anger, but even in that I know he’s got me & always has. I see it! I’ve never been more spiritually awake as I am now! I’m leaning in fully! How can I not. I lost the closest person to me & he is there, no way I can turn my back.” Tweeted Nadia Nakai.
