Aewon Wolf Reacts To Featuring On Skwatta Kamp’s Last Album
Aewon Wolf Reacts To Featuring On Skwatta Kamp’s Last Album. Formed in 1996, has finally turned off the lights and vacated the hip-hop stage. The legendary hip-hop group, on the other hand, is leaving the stage in style, having just released their last album, ‘SVN.’
“SVN” is Skwatta Kamp‘s seventh and last album, and it honours the group’s main seven rappers. The group managed to utilise some of the musical prowess of the young South African rapper and songwriter Aewon Wolf.
Taking to Twitter, expressed nothing but gratitude for the opportunity to work with the best to ever do it in the rap game. “It was an honour! Skwatta was the most important group to my childhood in hip hop.” Tweeted Aewon Wolf.
Skwatta Kamp did not have a lot of collaboration mostly from the SA rappers that have made it big after their time. Yanga Chief was one of the South African rappers that showed a strong desire to be included on the album.
The Xhosa rapper took to Instagram and expressed being discontent for not getting a chance on Skwatta Kamp’s last album. “Am I wrong for feeling some type of way that I’m not the new Skwatta Kamp album??? better not be the last one #SVN. @shugasmakx @siyametane,” said Yanga Chief.
The term “SVN” is typically connected to sex, violence, and nudity restrictions, however, in this instance, the honourable group chose to humorously type out the number seven for the title. The 14-track SVN album pays homage to the group’s enduring friendship, adventures, dreams, conversations, and unwavering devotion to telling the truth.
