Flvme Reveals How Talks Between Him & Love And Hip Hop SA Collapsed
Flvme Reveals How Talks Between Him & Love And Hip Hop SA Collapsed. Since its debut on MTV, Love And Hip Hop SA has piqued the interest of reality TV show fans and SA hip-hop fans in general.

The show has already screened the lives of SA rappers and how they go about their day-to-day lives. Even though it contains some big names in the SA hip-hop industry there are some who were approached to take part in the show but could not make it. One of them is the Vosloorus-born Flvme.
Taking to Instagram, Flvme revealed the events that took place leading him to not take part in the US franchise reality TV show. The rapper said that he tabled MTV a prohibitive offer so that they can walk away from the deal because he didn’t want to be part of the reality show.
“Love And Hip-hop, I asked for a lot of money and they bailed out because of that,” said Flvme via Instagram Live as per Mzansi A-Listers. “That was a great way to decline that for me. Most of the time when I dont want to work with people, instead of actually telling you f*ck that I will just put a big price on it, something that I know is gonna make you scratch your head.”
He added; “most of the time I win because you know don’t hit me back up once I tell you how much I want from them.” Flvme also stated that he has never invoiced anyone in SA Hip-hop for a verse or a beat because he believes that once money is involved it kills the integrity of his contribution to the song.
“I’ve never got paid for any work I’ve done in the game like from established artists, I’ve never got paid for that,” he said. “I’ve never invoiced anyone for anything, for a beat or except for Nasty because they wanted me to invoice them.”
“And also for me, I just don’t put a price on it because I don’t want to kill the integrity of actually making a beautiful record. Because once now we step into the field with the business mindset it’s already defeated the purpose of making a great song. I would rather we talk about the money after,” he said.
