Lynn Forbes On Whether She Believes AKA Had Enemies Who Wanted Him Dead. AKA’s death has given rise to a number of speculations since everyone is so eager to understand why the rapper was killed.
The Supa Mega was killed along with his friend a celebrity chef Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane outside the Wish Restaurant in Durban. In an exclusive interview with ENCA, AKA’s mother Lynn Forbes refuted rumours that AKA was not safe in Durban and someone wanted him dead.
“I don’t know, because as I said to you I don’t want to believe that he had enemies. I don’t want to believe that somebody would’ve hated him that much,” she said. “I don’t know if it was hate, even if somebody disliked him, I dont know if it would’ve been enough to actually plan, calculate and sit down and discuss how we going to take him out.”
Lynn Forbes also stated that the family is receiving regular information on their son’s murder investigation and that the family is patient with the police She further stated that nothing will be expedited to get her son back. “Kiernan is gone for me and nothing that’s going to be rushed is going to bring him back, Lynn Forbes said.
“Im still gonna go to bed without my son and I’m gonna wake up without my son. It doesn’t matter who gets arrested that’s never gonna change. So I’m allowing and I’m just speaking on behalf of myself right now, I’m allowing the investigation to run its course because nothing is going to be different, but as far as a country we have some real issues to address,” she added.
