Recently, Bragga visited Zimbabwe her mother’s home country after she was invited to attend the Changamire Festival Awards. The rapper also took that opportunity to visit her grandmother a day she described to have been filled with restoration. “On my way to visit my Granny. A day filled with crying and restoration, I can’t wait to get there,” she wrote.
Nadia Nakai took to Twitter to discuss how her meeting with her grandma went, noting that her grandmother is doing well, but she also stated that she would never want to live life alone since that is how her grandmother lives.
As she admits to adjusting to a life without a spouse in the future, the rapper alluded to being alone for a considerable amount of time following the passing of AKA. “My Gran is okay living her life alone, she says she’s used to it. I don’t want2live my life alone. it’ll have to be something I’d have 2get used to. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not just me, there’s a lot of people doing this life thing alone, no partner, it just sucks. But life,” tweeted Nadia.
The rapper also shared how closer she is getting to God after going through a difficult period of her life. “Even in my pain I see God so much. God knows my anger, but even in that I know he’s got me & always has. I see it! I’ve never been more spiritually awake as I am now! I’m leaning in fully! How can I not.
