“You guys really knew him” – Nadia Nakai Pours Appreciation To AKA’s Megacy. In the aftermath of AKA’s tragic murder, the slain rapper’s Megacy has been up in arms to celebrate and mourn their icon. AKA was shot and killed outside the Wish restaurant on Florida Road in Durban along with his friend Tibz.

The Megacy hosted a Twitter Space where they talked about the rapper’s impact and expressed love for the family he left behind. Nadia Nakai took time to listen to the recorded Megacy Community Twitter Space and she had all the good things to say about the slain rapper’s fans.

Taking to Twitter Bragga poured massive appreciation to the Megacy and acknowledged the fans’ relationship with Kiernan. “Listening to this now. love the energy here… made me cry and smile. Thank you guys for constantly saying you will support Glammy, Zinhle, Kairo, the family and myself. THANK YOU! Hearing what you learnt from him really reminded me of a lot! You guys really knew him.” Tweeted Nadia Nakai.

Nadia Nakai, like anyone who knew AKA, is learning to accept the loss that has befallen her as a result of the award-winning rapper’s untimely death. Bragga recently returned to work following the death of AKA, and she thanked everyone who helped her.

“I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone that supported me as I went back to work this weekend. I am so grateful for what people did for me just to make sure I’m okay. Sometimes I feel I’m undeserving of the support, the messages the hugs and love from my friends, family, fans aswell as the venues I worked this weekend. It really gave me hope that I will be okay… There are so many genuinely good people out there and I’ll never take it for granted. THANK YOU guys!“ A grateful Nadia wrote.
