Ambitiouz Entertainment Clamps Down On Blaq Diamond’s ‘iCareer’ New Music Video
Ambitiouz Entertainment Clamps Down On Blaq Diamond’s ‘iCareer’ New Music Video Ambitiouz Entertainment has often demonstrated that they will not let go of musicians who think they have broken their contractual obligation.
The record label has once again extended its wrath after it dropped Blaq Diamond’s Danya Devs album earlier than scheduled. The artists made no comment toward the record label’s move, rather Blaq Diamond went on and release a new song titled “iCareer.”
In the wake of Blaq Diamond‘s new release, Ambitiouz Entertainment took to their Facebook page and throw the spanners in the work of their former artists. The record label declared that Blaq Diamond must still honour their contract with them and that no name change will end the relationship between them.
“ALERT ARTISTS 🚬⚠️ When an artist signs a contract they sign with their actual name linked to their ID/Passport # . Changing stage names or doing a Solo project makes no difference. the contract is with you not your stage name… releasing music as Umuthi / Danya devs / Blaq Diamond / into encane etc makes no difference.. MusicBusiness101.” Wrote Ambitiouz Entertainment.
Since the duo is no longer affiliated with Ambitiouz Entertainment anymore, their new song was released under their own record label Umuthi Records. The song talks about the duo’s increasing progress, new ventures, and different successes.
Malome Vector who also had his own fair share of squabbles with Ambitiouz Ent made an appearance in Blaq Diamond’s new music video along with DJ Tira. The excitement of the new Blaq Diamond music video was cut short after Ambitiouz Ent claimed the rights. That led to the music video being removed from YouTube for copyrights.
