Cassper Reacts To K.O’s “Sete” Losing Song Of The Year At Metro FM Awards 2023
Cassper Reacts To K.O’s “Sete” Losing Song Of The Year At Metro FM Awards 2023. There is no doubt in the Mzansi music industry that K.O delivered the number 1 song in the country in SETE featuring Blxckie and Young Stunna last year. The SR3 lead single became a global phenomenon glaring over 80 million streams.
The SkhandaWorld Chief was nominated for seven categories at the recently concluded Metro FM Awards, but to no one’s surprise, he did not win any of them. The most talking point was Sete missing out on song of the year over Betusile Mcinga’s gospel song titled Ngena Noah.
Taking to Twitter, Cassper Nyovest was one of the people who was perplexed that the Skhanda Gawd’s SETE missed out on song of the year. Nyovest was shocked stating that he has never heard of the song that won Song Of The Year at the Metro FM Awards. “I really thought K.O would take a song of the year at the Metros. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thought so.” Tweeted Cassper.
Despite his astonishment that K.O missed Song Of The Year for a gospel song, Mufasa went on to support Ngena Noah, adding that it is still an excellent song. “But I won’t lie, that Gospel song is Cathy!! I didn’t know it until tonight but the melody is stuck in my head!!! Hahah.” Cassper wrote in another tweet.
K.O may have been the biggest loser at the Metro FM Awards, but the famous rapper has a lot to celebrate after a fantastic year last year. Not only has SETE become the biggest song in the country, but it also became K.O.’s most-certified song in his musical career. The rapper is already working towards a new album which he believes might drop this year, hence he is not letting the foot off the gas.
