Taking to Twitter, Emtee might have been thrown to the edge after he revealed that he was involved in a misunderstanding with an Uber driver. The rapper said the driver claimed that he is wasting his time yet he was withdrawing money to pay for the service.

Emtee affirmed that he is not going to use Uber again following the heated argument. “Never catching an @Uber again in my life. Ziyadelela lenja. As if that wasn’t enough, Emtee went on to contact one of the transportation businesses, Bolt, which operates in the same industry as Uber. The rapper questioned the company’s decision to hire ex-convicts as drivers.@boltapp why do u guys have ex-cons as drivers?” Tweeted Emtee.

In response, Bolt urged the famous rapper of the stringent procedures in place to ensure the safety of their clients. “We want to assure you that the safety of all users of our platform remains our top priority. All our drivers go through rigorous verification steps and provide all relevant statutory documents including valid Police Clearance Certificate before joining the platform.

We launched a driver selfie check feature which requires them to undertake selfie verification, in order to verify their identity and ensure that the details provided, correspond with those in the app.” Read the tweet.

With all the safety assurance that the Bolt company provided to Emtee, the rapper was not convinced. Rather, he went on to share the image of the Bolt car that he boarded and accused the drivers of abusing and harrasing women. “Niyanya nje Nina. Iqiniso liyafuneka Niyanya, Ama driver wenu harass and rape women on top that rude AF,” a fuming Emtee tweeted.
