K.O Explains Why He Blames Himself For Not Getting His Flowers. K.O has been an integral part of the SA hip-hop scene for a long time. His music has made him dubbed one of the best in the game.

During an interview on his trip to London, the rapper remarked that most people defend him by claiming that he doesn’t get enough flowers, but he claims that he is to blame. K.O said that he has never done a K.O concert in South Africa compared and other big-name rappers such as Cassper and AKA, and that’s one of the reasons he doesn’t get his flowers.

“I’ve never done just the K.O concert back home like where it’s like okay, this is specifically if you walk through those doors you are solely going in there to see this man,” he said. “My peers have done that you’re talking about Cassper Nyovest, even AKA and all those kinds of people. I’ve never done that.”

He added; “as much as yes people might say I don’t get enough flowers, to a certain degree, I’m the very reason why I don’t get some of those flowers. Because I don’t give them the reason to put me on that pedestal sometimes.”

Even though he has yet to receive his flower if he achieves specific goals in his musical career, K.O believes that his longevity makes him the finest. “Im ageing like fine wine in the music space, I’m setting a whole new tone,” he said.

“I think I’m really living the life a lot of hip-hop artists how would they like to see themselves. The longevity that I’m showcasing right now, I’m probably the first one in SA to be at it for this long and be this great for this long,” K.O said.
