WATCH! Kid X Announces His New YouTube Channel “The Wholesome Institute.” When it comes to a man of many abilities, Kid X fits right in. Not only has he become one of the biggest stars in South African hip-hop, but the rapper is now branching out into content creation.

Taking to Instagram, the famed rapper announced the premiere of his new YouTube channel ‘The Wholesome Institute.’ Kid X expressed that he is excited about the journey he is about to take and urged his fans to engage with him. “We’re LIVE. Just started a youtube channel called The Wholesome Institute. Let’s lock in! Hella excited for this journey. !” Wrote Kid X.

In the first YouTube video that he shared, the rapper explained what the channel is about and his decision to venture into the content creation space. “This platform is called The Wholesome Institute,” he said. “The reason for the Wholesome Institute is I thought about starting 10 million channels, I’ve a lot of interest. I like soccer, I like reading so I might want to review some books, I like playing chess. Family is my thing I’m a father, I’m a husband, i might want to talk about everything that comes with that,” he added.

“I like hip-hop and I thought it actually better maybe to group these things and put it in one channel. So this platform is gonna address everything that Kid X likes. We gonna chop it up, we gonna make sure that people get to the bottom of this guy, he’s been so quiet about who he is, who is he? We’re gonna unmask the man, we’re gonna solve for X, that’s what the Wholesome Institute is essentially for. So I wanna invite everybody to kick back, relax and brace yourself.”

Addressing how long his channel will run, Kid X said; “I wanna do this for a year straight, I wanna post a video every single day and see where it gets me you know.”

Speaking on the inspiration behind this new idea, Kid X said he was inspired by DJ Sbu. “I want to shout out grootman DJ Sbu for birthing this idea. I think I watched one of his videos where he was talking about the fact that we should start YouTube Channels posts, post content, and create content. So for me, it made sense and I said yes I need to start expressing myself more, I need to start revealing certain elements of my life. This is where we’re gonna do it.” He said.
