Yanga Chief Hints At What Can Be Expected From His Upcoming Album. At this point, it looks like most of the big-name SA rappers are in their bag working on album releases. Some have already dropped at the beginning of the year whilst others have confirmed they are almost ready to release one.

Taking to Twitter, Yanga Chief emerged as the latest rapper, confirming that he is working on a new album. The famed Xhosa rapper said that his forthcoming album is nothing of the same as his previous work, but he assured that the project will be delivered on time for his fans.

Yanga Chief said that his two albums Becoming A Pop Star and Pop Star were ahead of their time but the forthcoming album will be delivered on time. “BAPS was ahead of its time, POP STAR was ahead of its time, and this next album will be ON TIME. ON GOD.” Tweeted Yanga Chief.

Ahead of his new album release, Yanga Chief has released a lead single ‘To Each His Own.’ The rapper stated that the tune was a watershed moment in his career and that he is prepared for the next huge steps he will take.

“This song will be a turning point in my career, in terms of me being managed by myself and my own team and just doing things my own way and I think this speaks to the song at this point and time I don’t have much to do with advise, I’m just moving the way that I know and understand and I am super excited to see how that is going to turn out.” He said.

The rapper is yet to announce the album release and share more details in regard to his forthcoming body of work.
