Zingah Pinpoints Why Cassper Deserves Credit In SA Hip Hop. Most rappers rose to popularity with the support of record labels, but not all of them; some must forge their road as independent musicians.

Cassper Nyovest is one of the SA rappers who found his way on the road to fame through music as an independent artist. The rapper’s frame of mind convinced his contemporaries that they could still succeed without the assistance of a record label; instead, the rapper established his record label. Taking to Twitter, Zingah praised Cassper for his move to pave the way for independent artists in the rap culture. “Oh, and by the way; If we’re giving anybody credit for the Independent movement it’s this guy…” Tweeted Zingah.

Zingah has been driving the SA Hip-hop conversation mostly on his Choppin’ It With Bhuda T Podcast. Recently the former CashTime rapper was asked when he will bring Cassper for an interview on his podcast. The rapper’s previous squabble with Nyovest made the self-proclaimed Don Billiato block him on Twitter hence the two do not cross paths.

Even though there might be tension between the two, Zingah has made it clear that he loves Cassper. The Dlala chanter said he listen to Cassper‘s music and none of the things he said about Cassper are personal.

Recently, Cassper announced the release date for his long-awaited album. The rapper titled the album Solomon after his long-time friend Carpo. “Album title: Solomon Release date: July 28,” wrote Cassper. Nyovest is yet to reveal the tracklist of his body of work but he has promised big tunes that will rock the SA hip-hop space.
