Dee Koala Reacts To A Shoutout From Prominent Miami DJ. Dee Koala has been able to strike a solid mix between relevance and prominence ever since she made her debut in the music industry. The rapper has managed to create music that resonates with her following and her style has made her attract ambassador roles for big brands.
Not only has she managed to solidify her notoriety in SA Hip-hop, but Dee Koala’s craft has also reached far beyond the borders of South AH. During a Drink Champs Podcast interview with Davido, the famed Miami DJ EFN shared his experience upon visiting Capetown which is Dee’s hometown.
EFN gave a shoutout to Dee Koala as one of the artists he met during his visit. “Capetown is more hood than Joburg, because when we went there the army was in the hood, they were like having problems. We went out there (South Africa) shoutout to Dee Koala one of the artists out there. We were there for like a week, it was dope,” he said.
Taking to Twitter, the rapper expressed her excitement after she received a shoutout from DJ EFN a prominent record label executive and DJ. “S/O to @djEFN for always showing me love and for the shoutout on the latest Drink Champs with @noreaga & @davido,” tweeted Dee Koala.
Dee Koala has not achieved her success all by herself, rather she has acknowledged other players in the game with the likes of Riky Rick being part of her journey. “When I worked closely with Riky he showed me a different life but I learnt from him that you guys do have personalities, that sometimes there’s an act that has to be done in the lights, but once you chill with them behind the lights, there’s a personality with deeper thoughts, the person with the brain.” She said during an interview with Zingah.
