Nasty C Reveals How He Landed A Role On Disney+’s Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire

Last year, the rapper took to his social media pages and announced that his voice will be part of the Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire animated series. In a recent interview with GQ Magazine, the Hell Naw hitmaker was asked how he landed the acting role on Disney. “How did you bag this gig to lend your voice to the new Disney+ animated series, Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire?

The rapper said that his team informed him about the series and he shared his story. “My team informed me about the series Disney + was doing and shared the story, Mkhuzi: The Spirit Racer with me. I was excited to lend my voice to the character and series.” Said Nasty C.

This will not be the first time Nasty C has starred in a drama series. The rapper was featured on Netflix’s Blood And Water in 2020. In the interview with GQ, the award-winning rapper was to share the contrast between his role in Blood And Water and his recent role in Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire.

My experience on Blood & Water was very different because you are actually on screen. What I liked about Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire is that I’m not on camera and my voice and expressions have to carry the drama. Because I’m also a graphic artist I gravitate toward animation.Nasty C said.

“Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire” is a ten-part series produced by Peter Ramsey and will premiere on July 5, 2023, on Disney+. The series is a ten-part collection of highly animated Disney+ original short films with directors from Zimbabwe, Uganda, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, and Egypt.
