Duncan’s conscious content is comprised of well-integrated lyrics and his fans love him for that. Even though most Durbanites and South Africans at large are well-rooted in Duncan and Afrontainment’s music, not every music lover enjoys their jams.

Taking to Twitter, Duncan was dragged into DJ Tira‘s mess after the latter expressed his disappointment in Emtee. One of the tweeps came to Emtee’s defence lashing at Dj Tira and Duncan stating that their music is wack. “Stop throwing shades he ran away from your music it’s whack and Duncan is even worse who wants to collaborate with Duncan?” Read the tweet.

Duncan was irritated by being dragged into something he didn’t address, especially with his music being disparaged. “Angithandi ukusukelwa ngizithulele we sis ngoba ngyakwaz uku dealer nonokiloyi ungangi taste,” Duncan responded.

Duncan has always been willing to express himself, especially when it comes to his music. Recently, the Durban rapper aired his displeasure over music piracy. This arose after his body of work with Zakwe was marred by music piracy, leaving them with little to show for their efforts.

Saninika album is solid but you guys failed us with no support. I run with it and FAKAZA and then I ask, what did I beat Gold/platinum? How can I not testify?\n We did this album with love and resurrecting the rap of the township but the township failed to wake us up so don’t blame us when you see us walking far from the township,” he wrote.
