Rappers Who’ve Postponed Shows Amid COVID 19 Spread Scare! Due to the corona virus spread scare two much anticipated hip hop shows have been postponed.

The Reece Effect 2020 show that was set to take place n the 4th of of April has been postponed to an indefinite day. Lawk Communications on behalf of A-Reece made this sad announcement today on twitter citing the outbreak of the corona virus as reason for postponement.

In the light of His Excellency, President Cyril Ramaphosa’s State Of Disaster announcement and the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 outbreak in south Africa, Reece Effect 2020 has been officially postponed until further notice,” the statement read.

Another show that has since been postponed is the Zoocci Coke Dope FREEANXIETY Tour. The tour that had been scheduled to take place at the end of the month was also postponed due to corona virus. A statement was shared on twitter regarding the postponement.

“In the light of the president’s address concerning Covid-19, it brings us great heart break to announce the postponement of the Zoocci Coke Dope’s FREEANXIETY Tour. The event will be moved to a further date which we will communicate once we have received assurance from the relevant authorities that it is safe do so,” read the PIFF Audio statement on behalf of Zoocci.

President Cyril Ramaphosa yesterday announced in his state of Disaster address that people should desist from indoor gatherings of more than 50 people and outdoor gatherings of a populace of 100. These are efforts to curb the spread of the Corona Virus. This might mean more shows that were scheduled to take place soon will be postponed. Better safe tha sorry.
