Sony Music Africa Confirms The Upcoming Release Of AKA’s “Mass Country Deluxe” Edition. AKA may have left his fans with fantastic music after the release of his Mass Country album in February, but the Megacy will still be pampered with more music.
According to Slikour On Life, Sony Music Africa label Manager Caroline Morabe said that the fans should be on the lookout for more of AKA’s music. The label manager said that the late rapper left a lot of unreleased music and they can’t release them all at once, hence the plans to drop a Mass Country Deluxe edition later this year.
“You know Kiernan in studio, he brought a whole bunch of songs and we can’t release everything at once, so he left us some serious magic and we’re very excited later on in the year to have the ‘Mass Country Deluxe’ coming out,” said Caroline Morabe during a brunch at the Artistry in Sandton.
In addition to the musical aspect, the release of the Deluxe Edition is expected to be accompanied by a Sponono music video. AKA‘s dedication to delivering a complete and immersive experience for his fans demonstrates Sony Music and Vth Season’s commitment to preserving his legacy.
During a previous interview on Slikour On Life, Vth Season boss Benza said that AKA left a lot of unreleased music and they are waiting for the right time to release it.
“You know he was an ultimate creative, so every time there was an inspiration he wrote something down in his studio at home. He was a producer and he recorded some songs. So yes, he has a lot of music that’s there. Someone did ask me about that question and I said you know what, in order for us to share more music Kiernan has to give us a sign.” Benza said.
