Maglera Doe Boy Calls for Correction of Misleading Online Image of HHP
Maglera Doe Boy Calls for Correction of Misleading Online Image of HHP. Rapper Maglera Doe Boy has stepped in to protect the legacy of the late, iconic South African hip hop pioneer HHP (Hip Hop Pantsula), after noticing a misleading image appearing in Google search results.

In a heartfelt public appeal, Maglera asked, “How do we fix this so it’s a proper image of Jabba? Love Dali but Jabba’s legacy already got so much sadness man. Ka le kopa ouens.”
The issue stems from an online search displaying a photograph of another public figure, Dali, under the name Hip Hop Pantsula, which could mislead fans or confuse those learning about the artist’s history. For Maglera, this is more than a matter of accuracy — it’s about respect for the man who inspired generations and paved the way for South African hip hop.
HHP, born Jabulani Tsambo, was celebrated for his cultural pride, lyrical brilliance, and unifying spirit in music. Since his passing in 2018, fans and fellow artists have continued to honour his memory, but Maglera’s remarks highlight how digital misinformation can unintentionally distort an artist’s legacy.
His call to action is clear — fix the digital record, restore the correct imagery, and ensure Jabba is remembered as he truly was: a towering figure in Mzansi hip hop whose impact remains unmatched.
