While A-Reece has faced his fair share of criticism over the years, he has always chosen to respond through his artistry rather than engaging in public spats. He remains an epitome of composure, letting his lyrics and musical creations serve as a testament to his resilience and talent.

This time around, Reece has left a profound impression on the South African hip-hop community, garnering praise from fans and critics alike. This remarkable feat was achieved through his electrifying performance at the Reece Effect concert in Durban.

Taking to Twitter (X), A-Reece expressed his satisfaction with how the Durban concert unfolded, noting that it met his expectations. The rapper also extended his gratitude for the overwhelming love he received from Ethekwini, emphasizing the significance of the moment as he had the support of his family, including his brothers Jay Jody and Kaydence.

“Tour kicked off exactly how I expected. Durban always shows mad love when I touch down. This time it was extra special because I had both my brothers Jody & Kaydence join me. God is good.” Wrote A-Reece.

It was not only crucial to have his brothers at his side, but the “On My Own” hitmaker also acknowledged Blxckie, who was one of the artists who played as support acts during his concert. “I got nothing but love and respect for my nigga Blxckie. he’s been solid with me since we met and I want the whole world to know I’m appreciative of that. It’s high key some humbling shit. he’s really the king of the city go ask about him. a big shout out to LEODALEO & all the Djs that came through to party with us. Cape Town, You’re next,” Reece added.

A-Reece’s tour is set to make its way to Cape Town on October 14th, and Pretoria can anticipate a performance featuring tracks from his new album on October 20th, with the tour concluding in Johannesburg in December.
