According to the Zimoja publication, the record label has been going through a financial crisis leading to their offices in Rosebank being closed for the past four months. “Things are bad, many artists have left Kgosi. He is going through the most,” a former employee told Zimoja.

With the Ambitiouz Entertainment record label owner going through a rough patch, some of his workers have been said to have reported him to CCMA. “Some employees went to CCMA due to frustration of chasing Kgosi for their salaries which haven’t been paid since March this year. Sometimes he picks up calls but most days he doesn’t, that is why people decided to go to CCMA.”

Ambitiouz Entertainment has made headlines for all the wrong reasons in the past years. The record label has ended relationships with some of the best artists in the country, with the likes of Emtee, Saudi, Amanda Black, A-Reece, and FiFi Cooper amongst others.

Ntaba Yase Dubai is one of the artists who voiced his dissatisfaction regarding his compensation at the record label. The artist asserted that he received a mere R3,700 per month from the label, despite actively performing gigs every weekend.

Lately, Blaq Diamond filed a lawsuit against the record label, seeking reimbursement for all the expenses incurred during the interdict they initiated against the label the previous year.
