Thato Saul Explains Why He Thinks Tyson Sybateli Is The Best Rapper He Knows. The South African music scene has long been a breeding ground for remarkable talent, and the hip-hop genre is no exception.
The buzz around the rap scene has also been dominated by the high praise given by rapper Thato Saul to his fellow artist Tyson Sybateli. In an interview on the Sobering Podcast, Thato Saul shared his perspective on why he believes Tyson Sybateli stands out as the best rapper he knows.
Thato Saul‘s remarks came at a time when Tyson released his mixtape titled Present which the former also featured on the track titled No Comment. The Pretoria-based rapper said that Tyson is one rapper who pushes him to be great when they are making music together.
“He’s the best rapper that I know of, he’s the best guy, so he pushes me to be as good,” Thato Saul said. “I try to do two different things, this is the first time we do a song like this, me and him. Usually me and him we are back pack, so this time we are like let’s just relax a bit.”
“It’s dope when you work with someone you know this guy is gonna push me all the way lyrically and now he’s pushing me all the way where we are relaxed. Now we get to chill, but he still pushing me. I like rapping with him and Maglera because that’s what they do to me,” Thato Saul added.
As the South African hip-hop scene undergoes constant transformation and gives birth to remarkable talents, Tyson Sybateli’s ascent in the industry radiates even more brilliantly with every endorsement received from influential figures such as Thato Saul.
The intriguing question that lingers is how this reciprocal admiration will impact their forthcoming collaborations and, in turn, shape the dynamics of the wider music realm.
