Yanga Chief Reveals Plans For His Upcoming Movie Projects. Yanga Chief has officially announced his foray into the world of filming. The multi-talented artist, best known for his chart-topping music hits and dynamic stage presence, is set to embark on a creative journey with upcoming movie projects that promise to captivate movie audiences.
Speaking during an interview on Turbang Studios TV at the Fashion Week, Yanga Chief announced that he has movies on the way that he has directed and created. The rapper didn’t divulge all the specifics, but he did give a glimpse into what fans can expect from his upcoming movie endeavour.
“I have movies on the way, that I’ve directed and created, I’m still working, I dont want to get you excited, you’re going to ask when is that coming out you know. But that’s a long process, but I’m enjoying it and having a good time with it,” he said.
Speaking on whether his fans should be on the lookout for new music, Yanga Chief said; “Music-wise you know I might just drop something for summer. This is my season, you know like I always drop around summer. I used the other part of the year to focus on my other talents.”
This won’t be the first time the Xhosa rapper will be working behind film production. Yanga Chief directed The 16V Doctor Khumalo: UntoldDocu-Series. The rapper treated viewers to the pinnacle of an intimate four-part weekly documentary series, that aired on Mzansi Magic channel 161 last year.
