“Is it out of jealousy?” DJ Clen Weighs In On SA Rappers Not Promoting A-Reece’s New Album

The Pretoria-based rapper has confidently ascended to the throne as one of the most revered figures in the world of South African rap, making his album the talk of the town. However, with fans celebrating A-Reece’s album success, fellow rapper and producer DJ Clen took to Twitter (X) and aired concerns towards some SA rappers not promoting or sharing The Boy’s body of work on their popular social media platforms.

In his recent social media post, Dj Clen attempted to decipher the sentiments surrounding A-Reece‘s album among South African rappers. He pondered whether the response was fueled by envy towards the success of the Paradise hitmaker or stemmed from their absence from the project.

“I actually just realised that not many Hip Hop artists in South Africa are sharing the P2 album. Is it because they’re not listening to the album? Is it out of Jealousy? Or Is it because they’re not part of the features? I mean it’s the number 1 Hip Hop album.” Wrote DJ Clen.

DJ Clen has experienced considerable triumph this year, courtesy of the success of his album, Viral. The renowned DJ has expressed admiration for Reece, crediting him for his significant contribution to the album as an Executive Producer.
