Emtee has a number of hits to his name from Pearl Thusi to Roll Up and Manando at least. Behind each single the rapper has dropped there is usually a solid meaning or story, not the same can be said about Roll Up.
The single Roll-up won The Hustla awards amongst millions of streams and downloads, what most people didn’t know is that the it was a Freestyle. It being a Freestyle made the owner doubt it, he admitted speaking with Reason that he wasn’t fond of the song when he first heard it.
“Roll Up wasn’t even written. I didn’t even like the song at first cause I sat and asked myself about some of the lines “what am I saying?” – Em told Reason.
