K.O Accuses NOTA Of Exploiting AKA’s Death, Calls Him “Little Demon” In Twitter (X) Spat. K.O has ignited a heated exchange on Twitter (X), accusing music industry commentator and manager NOTA Baloyi of exploiting the recent tragic death of fellow rapper AKA.
In a Twitter (X) post, the SkhandaWorld boss took time to reflect on his musical journey, sharing how he has managed to stay relevant in the game even after facing notable challenges. In the same post, the veteran rapper paid tribute to AKA, with whom he has been in healthy competition within the game for the longest time.
“Watching my career in real time might give the impression that this sh*t easy. Easy to undermine the fact that I came out hot wt the group, took off as a solo act, fell off and got hated for a min, did the impossible when I came back and obliterated the skeptics. I’m humbly in an island of my own if we talking longevity and career span in the game. RIP #Mega. You don’t have to agree, your disdain changes nothing. Happy holidays,” wrote K.O.
Even though the SETE hitmaker meant well with his remarks, his post triggered the controversial Nota Baloyi to spit that the K.O.’s brother failed to protect AKA from being killed in Durban. “Not forgetting you watched CCTV footage of your precious little brother get given a wedgie while your so-called friend & co-collaborator got lined outside one of your favourite Durban hangout spots… Posting RIP’s like your own blood failed at the job you got for him. Unes’nyama!” Said Nota.
Nota‘s comments not only upset K.O but also incensed the Caracara hitmaker, who strongly criticized Nota for exploiting AKA’s death for personal gain. The Skhanda World boss further asserted that AKA had condemned Nota before his passing and described him as a deceitful figure spreading falsehoods about him, referring to him as a “little demon.”
“Satan I rebuke you! You appropriated a man’s tragic passing for relevance, a man who condemned your whole existence before he passed. It’s documented. Then proceeded to spew disgusting lies about me and everyone you maliciously and falsely accused. You sickly demented man! No matter how hard you pray to the devil you worship your lies will never miraculously turn into truth. Hell awaits you lil demon,” a furious K.O. said.
Since AKA’s tragic passing, Nota and K.O have been engaged in a heated dispute, culminating in K.O pursuing legal action against Nota for defamation.
