The freestyle received widespread attention and praise, with the young rapper showcasing smooth delivery in his verses as he addressed the issue of being undervalued within the South African rap scene. Loki‘s lyrical skill in the freestyle earned recognition from noteworthy individuals, including fellow musician and South African Hip Hop commentator Leo, also known as illytheHost. Leo commended Loki, stating that his freestyle serves as additional evidence that South Africa boasts some of the finest rap artists.

I personally think we got the best rappers in Southah. maaaaaan how do you share your pain on a beat and make it sound so dope? @LokiTunez who pissed you off bro? As fans we always knew you got it but this? Saying This is dope is an understatement. this shiiid is over dope son, over!” Leo said.

In response, the SkhandaWorld artist expressed that he’s been grappling with various thoughts, and the reality show “Inside Life With K.O” motivated him to articulate his feelings through rap. The “Tough Love” chanter added that baring his soul in his lyrics is a response to feeling undervalued and not receiving due recognition as one of the premier rappers in the industry.

“Got a lot on my mind bro , the reality show kinda pushed me somewhere I had to rap my way out of ….couldn’t “sing” my way out of the murmurs. And nje I haven’t been in the “best rapper” converation in a young , where as I feel I’m one of them in my own right,” Loki said.

Loki has released numerous noteworthy tracks under Skhanda World, solidifying his position as one of the two artists signed to the record label, alongside Roiii. Drawing from their experiences on the reality show, both artists have openly shared their strong rapport, not only in their professional collaboration but also in their personal lives. This camaraderie contributes to fostering a positive atmosphere within the Skhanda World family and resonates within the broader South African hip-hop community.
