Within the album, the rapper skillfully navigated through the intricacies of his life, accompanied by introspective tunes. Even though the songs might’ve caught much attention among fans, it is the album cover that has fans and SA hip-hop commentators asking questions.

Taking to Instagram, Saudi shared a Q&A segment where he took time to answer some of the burning questions regarding his album. The rapper was asked to share with the fans with one of them being about the album cover.

“What Does The Cover Symbolize? Is There Any Specific Reason Your Mother Is On It?” In response, Saudi said that the album cover is about celebrating his mother and all the mothers. “That’s my mother on the front cover. I wanted to celebrate her, and I just really wanted to celebrate all mothers you know, not particularly just my own,” he said.

Saudi has been absent from the music scene for an extended period, and the release of his album was notably delayed. However, during a Q&A session, he clarified the reasons behind the prolonged wait. He shared that the time away was dedicated to acquiring industry knowledge and honing his skills to enhance his music career moving forward.

“The reason it took me so long to actually release the album was I needed to learn enough about the business in order for me to do right by Saudi as a brand and Saudi as an artist,” he said. “I put out my second album, my first album was Pressure, it’s a classic and people expect something that in the same ballpark. So I knew that I could only either do something better or something worse and this album is better and that’s why it took this long,” Saudi added.
