Despite the significant effort Big Xhosa has invested to establish himself in the SA Hip Hop scene, he finds himself unfulfilled in his life. He experiences a sense of isolation and believes that the love he receives from those around him lacks authenticity.

Taking to Facebook, the rapper expressed that he lacks individuals who show kindness, even on his birthday, to the extent that he resorts to buying gifts for himself to experience a sense of satisfaction and belonging. The Xhosa rapper added that he has come to realise that people only do things for him when they want a return favour which is something he has learnt to live with.

“I’ve never had no one do something nice for me since I got popular. Even on my birthdays I buy myself gifts and try imagine if someone bought it for me 😭. I’m always on the giving side than the receiving side. Not complaining but as my career grows and I’ll get to new heights, I’m beginning to understand that I’ll never be genuinely loved unless I’m providing something. It’s okay though,” Wrote Big Xhosa.

Fans have responded to Big Xhosa’s candid revelations with an outpouring of support, praising the artist for his honesty and vulnerability. Many have taken to social media to express their empathy and encourage open discussions about the challenges faced by celebrities, debunking the myth that fame equates to a trouble-free life.
