Big Zulu Announces New Single Starring Pearl Thusi. Big Zulu is eagerly looking forward to kicking off the year with a bang as he has revealed plans to release a fresh single, featuring the talented actress Pearl Thusi.
Taking to Instagram, Inkabi Records posted a captivating photo capturing a moment of intense conversation between himself and Pearl Thusi at a recent event. In the caption of the image, Big Zulu went on and announced the name of the song which he titled “Awufuni ukung’qoma,” which translates to “You don’t want to date me.” “Big Zulu-You don’t want to date me✍🏿 Single Dropping Soon…….” Big Zulu announced.
In response to Big Zulu’s post, Pearl Thusi said; “Ungangihlohli ngize ngikhulume izinto ezingakhulunywa.” This is not the first time Pearl Thusi worked with an SA rapper on a song as she also featured on Emtee’s hit song Pearl Thusi which was named after her.
The famed actress has never shied away from expressing that she would love to jump into making music. The Queen Sono actress said that she would love to work with Emtee whom she has admired ever since his breakthrough in SA Hip Hop.
“Im actually making music, I dont want to create any expectation for these people, but I’m making music,” she said during an interview with DJ Fresh. “I’d love to do that I’d love to actually do that umuntu wami actually, Emtee and you guys leave Emtee alone,” Pearl Thusi said responding to whether she would work with Emtee.
With Pearl Thusi collaborating with Big Zulu, who has an ongoing feud with Emtee, it will be intriguing to hear Emtee’s response once the song is released.
