“National is Not Jozi”: Bravo Le Roux On Dominating SA Hip Hop
“National is Not Jozi”: Bravo Le Roux On Dominating SA Hip Hop. Bravo Le Roux has taken to social media and challenged the notion that SA hip-hop is only confined to the city of Johannesburg. Following the successful release of his album “Igazi, Iinyembezi Nombilo” the rapper has declared himself as one of the most impactful rappers in SA Hip Hop.
With all that he has achieved post his album release, the rapper has been overlooked in some of the conversations of SA rappers who have influenced the game in 2023. In the latest episode of Choppin’ It With Budha T, Zingah, Rashid Kay, and Farx compiled a list of South African rappers who significantly influenced the SA Hip Hop culture last year. Surprisingly, despite Bravo Le Roux’s noteworthy achievements, his name was conspicuously absent from the discussion.
Sharing his success on Twitter (X), Bravo detailed a comprehensive list of his accomplishments in 2023, attributing them to the release of his album. The compilation highlighted the significant influence he exerted in his community, as his reputation extended nationwide, attracting numerous brands eager to associate with him as an artist.
