Taking to Instagram, the Khayelitsha-born rapper shared his experience outside the country as he embarks on sharing his music and brand with the world. In the moment of exploring the world, Bravo Le Roux had the opportunity to attend the Milan Fashion Week in Italy.
The rapper revealed that being part of the prestigious fashion week has been a lifelong aspiration, highlighting how Italian clothing brands served as a source of inspiration for fashion in the township during his formative years.
“Every kid from the township who’s into fashion knows how much Italian wear have inspired the way we put on clothes. For me to be here today at the @milanfashionweek & experience it in real time is actually a dream come true. Ndiyabulela nangeli ithuba, makwande – iminyango ivuliwe,” Bravo Le Roux said.
Following the success of his album ‘Igazi, Iinyembezi Nombilo,’ the rapper has been enjoying a successful ride in the music space, with his music taking him to the world. Speaking to Bona Magazine, Bravo said that he is proud to be representing his roots all over the world through his music. “I’m incredibly humbled by how my music has travelled across the globe and I appreciate the fact that I am doing this in isiXhosa and representing my roots visually.” He said.
