J Molley Reflects On 7 Months Of Sobriety With A Poignant Apology. J Molley has taken to social media to share a heartfelt reflection on his journey towards sobriety, marking seven months since he decided to embrace a life free from substance abuse.
In a poignant post, the artist not only celebrated his milestone but also issued a sincere apology to his fans and loved ones for any past actions that his struggles with addiction may have influenced. “To all my fans, it is with a heavy heart and humble spirit that I write to you today. For too long I’ve been burdened by the weight of my actions. Actions that were fueled by a disease I couldn’t fully control,” he said.
He continued; “today I stand before with a newfound clarity, courage and humility, seven months into my journey of sobriety. I write to extend my deepest apologies for the pain, hurt and disappointment I’ve caused due to my addiction and the resulting abuse.
“My addiction clouded my judgement, distorted my priorities and led me down the path of distraction, affecting not only myself but also those around me. I’ve recognised the harm I’ve caused, the relationships I’ve strained and the trust I’ve shattered. I can’t explain why I made so many mistakes, why I repeated them knowing I was digging a hole too deep to climb out. I only know I did that and that I’m deeply sorry.”
Molley acknowledged the impact his actions may have had on those around him, expressing remorse for any pain or disappointment he may have caused.
“I want to express my sincerest remorse for the way I’ve treated others during my struggle with addiction. I know that my behaviour has been unacceptable, hurtful and damaging. I am deeply sorry for any pain, trauma, or suffering I’ve inflicted upon you and the community. I understand that words alone cannot undo the damage, but please know that I’m committed to making amends and striving for redemption.” J Molley said.
The rapper further expressed that he has embarked on a journey of recovery, seeking guidance from both his cherished loved ones and dedicated professionals in his quest for sobriety.
“Through the unwavering support of loved ones, the guidance of dedicated professionals, and my own determination I’ve embarked on the path of recovery. Each day is a battle, but it’s a battle I face with resolve, honesty and humility.
“Seven months sober, I can see the world with newfound clarity, and I’m determined to rebuild my life on a foundation of sobriety, integrity and compassion. I understand that actions speak louder than words and I’m fully committed to demonstrating through my conduct that I am a changed person.
