Loki Unveils Artwork For Upcoming Single “Rutle.” Despite leaving Skhanda World record label, Loki is not backing down from pursuing his dreams of becoming one of the most recognised rappers in SA Hip Hop.
The Durban rapper is already putting in the work with new music in the pipeline with a new single titled Rutle featuring Blxckie and Loud Haileer Fourie set to drop on the 7th of March 2024. As Loki accelerates the motion for the release of the single, the rapper recently unveiled the artwork for the joint.
Taking to Instagram, the Shoda Ngami chanter unveiled the single’s artwork as he revealed the significant inspiration behind it.
“So what is artwork ? I think to get it’s true meaning you need to split the word in 2 and you’ll find 2 words that define any & all creatives, or atleast the ones I’ve had the pleasure of being around. So getting the artwork for #Rutle hand painted by @jaybe_gumede made all the sense in the world.
“I sent him the song & gave him room to let the art work 🖼️ he came back with a character that had me thinking “what is this?” , at first. Which then turned into “who is this?” , as I kept seeing a face. Which at first seemed disgruntled but as you keep making sense of it , you see that South African facial expression we make when we hear DRUMS! Another example of ukwiRutla lento 🇿🇦🫱🏾🫲🏼 2 more days,” wrote Loki.
The release of Rutle will not be the first time Loki has locked up with Blxckie on a song, the two have hopped on some good joints in the past. Tracks such as Shoda Ngami and Golden Black made an everlasting impact on the two rappers’ synergy when they worked together.
