Additionally, there’s anticipation building around Lolli Native’s upcoming sophomore album set to drop later this year. Taking to Twitter (X), Emtee who’s the the CEO at Emtee Records where Lolli Native is signed, announced that Lolli will be dropping a brand new body of work this year.
The announcement arrived with preconceived expectations, as The Hustler went on to emphasize that Lolli Native’s album is packed with fantastic features and captivating beats, sure to win over South African Hip Hop fans.
“@Lolli_Native is dropping an album this year. Been great sitting in the sessions seeing him go hard, make the right features, beat selection is fire,” Emtee announced. While an official release date hasn’t been announced yet there’s so much belief at Emtee Records that Lolli’s forthcoming project will be much better than the debut album iVangeli.
In 2022, the Xhosa rapper released his debut album “iVangeli,” a project reflecting the rapper’s Christian beliefs, featuring 11 tracks all written in his native Xhosa language. The album showcased collaborations with notable artists such as Emtee, Zady Swagg, Brian Temba, Elnino, and more.
