Sjava Shares Secrets To His Success On The International Market! 2018 has been a year that Sjava owned on the international market representing the SA Hip Hop industry.

The rapper was first featured on The Black Panther Album which peaked at number one on the Billboard hot 200 earlier this year. As if this was not a lot on it’s own, Sjava was then nominated for a BET Award which he walked away with late last month becoming the first SA Hip Hop artist to walk away a winner at the ceremony.

“I wrote about things that people go through. I try to stay true to my roots. That is something people must realise. You won’t go anywhere if you are the same as the next person,” explained Sjava speaking to Tshisalive. He went on to say “It took me over 16 years to get to this point and it took patience to get here. It was a lot of hard work but it is paying off. I can’t undo everything by just being like someone else.”
