Priddy Ugly Clears Up Misconceptions Concerning “DUST” Being His Final Album. In a recent interview with SA Hip Hop Reloaded, Priddy Ugly addressed the growing speculation surrounding his latest album, “DUST,” clarifying misconceptions that it marked the end of his music career.
Priddy Ugly made headlines in January with the release of his album “DUST,” accompanied by a poignant statement declaring it as his final album. The rapper’s announcement triggered misconception around the SA Hip Hop scene with fans concluding that he is retiring from making music.
During the recent interview, the rapper clarified that releasing his final album didn’t signify an end to his music-making journey, rather he still has more to offer. “Me mentioning that was the last album was a very clean statement, it’s the last album bafethu. So last album doesn’t mean the last song, or I’m retiring, I just said it’s the last album that I will be working on,” Priddy Ugly said.
The rapper confirmed that fans should anticipate more of his music, as he plans to release new tracks and collaborate with other artists. “You guys can surely expect to hear more music from me and there’s a lot of features that are coming out,” he added.
Recently, the award-winning rapper broke his lengthy music hiatus, announcing his return to the studio to work with producer Herc on new music.
“Ek’se, so I’m back in the studio again after a very long hiatus, before I get any further, majita please, I say this respectfully, I ask sincerely, please spare me with a feature request,” he said. “With that being said I actually gotta go tap in with Herc The Lights, but before go there I just wanna record something.”
