His journey so far in music has been punctuated by a series of bold moves, provocative statements, and boundary-pushing performances, all of which have contributed to his reputation as an enigmatic and polarizing figure.

With his edgy-sword persona, Shebeshxt perceives that despite resonating with the masses, he has also garnered substantial animosity. Taking to Instagram, the Limpopo famed rapper linked the animosity he’s receiving to that which 2Pac received during his prime in Hip Hop. “They hated 2Pac the very same way,” 🤧🔫💣🔥 Shebeshxt said.

With all his intelligence and musical prowess, 2Pac was among the rappers who became embroiled in conflicts, ultimately leading to his untimely demise in 1996. Now, Shebeshxt draws parallels between his own lifestyle and the life of the late US rapper.

Recently, a video of the Limpopo-native muso went viral after he attempted to slap a man who was identified as Skomota’s manager Skhothane Sa Pitori at Propaganda Club in Pretoria. Since achieving fame, the renowned rapper has found himself entangled in a flurry of public altercations that have gained traction on social media.

During an interview on the L-Tido Podcast, Shebeshxt mentioned that he harbours no hatred towards individuals involved in altercations with him. He emphasized that many of his viral videos were misrepresented and taken out of context.

“I’m not fighting with them. I hit them once just to show them I am not fighting and to tell them to relax and not start with me.

“For them, it’s fun, for me it’s work. So when they try to provoke me at work it makes me think they want to make me lose work and go hungry. I don’t hate you, I love you. It’s just that you are under the influence and I want you to wake up,” he said.
