Now, fans are eagerly anticipating a captivating journey as the seasoned rapper gears up for the release of his EP titled “Shallow.”

With a total track count of six, this highly anticipated release is already stirring up considerable excitement and anticipation within the vibrant SA Hip Hop community. Fans are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to dive into the musical journey that Tumi has meticulously crafted, each track promising to captivate listeners with its depth and resonance.

Taking to Instagram, the renowned rapper unveiled the debut single and revealed the tracklist of the full project, scheduled to drop on musical platforms in May. “Pre-save new ‘Shallow EP’ 🍪 and single out now featuring @apu_sebekedi,” announced Stogie T.

The rapper opens up his project with a track titled “80’s Love” featuring the powerful vocals of Britteny Crush. Following the groove of “80’s Love” is “Zimkile,” a collaboration where Stogie T employs the soothing, soulful voice of vocalist Msaki. As the track remains shrouded in mystery on previews along with “Too Late For Mama” featuring Bonj. There’s a tangible sense of anticipation surrounding Tumi’s creation, hinting at a sonic canvas rich with intricate layers of depth and diversity.

In his endeavour to uphold the lyrical mastery that has elevated him as one of SA Hip Hop’s finest lyricists, Stogie T maintained the momentum with the track “Shallow,” featuring Apu Sebekedi. The rapper effortlessly delivered a finely crafted and fully realized rap anthem that is sure to resonate with a wide array of hip-hop fans. “Biko’s Ghost” and “Dux Africanus” completed the 6-track EP which is expected to be fully released on the 24th of May 2024 under Motif Records.
