The famed rapper Tshego shared that he prefers to record his music by himself without any form of disturbance. The Pink Panther chanter said that any form of disturbance would make him lose his focus or rather his creativity since he takes recording as therapy.
“Via Lady Du. This one is real. I look at the recording, and not everyone is qualified to be a therapist. The wrong person engineering your vocals can fck up your whole energy up. That’s why I’m mostly alone when I record, even the wrong joke can irritate me and finesse me out of my zone,” Tshego said.
He continued; “And for females, it makes even more sense for your safety and protecting your energy from weird situations I’ve heard too many times before. I’ve made hits via WhatsApp. Learn to record yourself.”
In his quest to keep delivering good music and staying relevant to the culture, Tshego is putting in place his first-ever one-man show. The rapper said that the event is taking place on the 4th of May 2024 at the VIC in Bloemfontein. With that in mind, he has already unveiled some of the supporting acts that will grace the event. Fans will be treated to some great sonic experiences from the likes of Baby Son, Kiddo CSA, Dr Peppa, and Gemini Major amongst others.
“Let’s not forget, my first one-man show happening on May 4th in Bloemfontein at the Vic, dare not forget that’s very important,” Tshego said during an interview on Metro FM.
