The rapper released the song in March, and just a month later, he’s made a significant impact in the SA Hip Hop scene with his track receiving widespread praise and acclaim. Taking to Instagram Live, the 21-year-old rapper expressed his deepest gratitude to his fans, his team, the fans and mostly his mother.
“Hey my name is Usimamane, I want to say thank you so much to the Kultsha and everyone for always playing my sh*t, I thank you a lot,” he said. “I just want to say thank you so much, keep playing the song and I think on Spotify the last time I checked we’re on 999K you know and on YouTube the video is almost 900K, thank you very much,” he added.
In addition, he also graciously extended a shout-out to all those who played a part in the phenomenal success of the song, acknowledging their invaluable contributions. “Also shout out to Saak beats, shout out to All-Star, shout out to Ikho for the video and shout out to me,” he said.
