L-Tido Reacts To AKA’s Old Post Predicting ANC’s Downfall
L-Tido Reacts To AKA’s Old Post Predicting ANC’s Downfall. The loss of AKA is still vividly felt by many, especially those who were closest to him, including his fellow rapper and friend, L-Tido. Last year, the music world was shaken when the Supamega was tragically shot dead in Durban.
Yet, in a poignant twist, his social media posts on what is now called X (formerly Twitter) have recently taken on a new and profound relevance in South Africa, resonating with fans and followers as if he were still with us.
In the aftermath of the 2019 National Elections, AKA made a bold proclamation that the ANC had reached its end, despite the political party securing the majority of votes at the time. “PERSONALLY … it hurts to admit it, but the ANC as it currently exists …. is f*k*g DONE,” wrote AKA.
Fast forward five years and the ANC has faltered in its bid to secure the majority of votes in the recently concluded National Elections. The outcome has prompted L-Tido to commend AKA for his foresight in predicting the ANC’s decline back in 2019.
In a poignant post, L-Tido conveyed that while AKA may no longer be present in the physical realm, his enduring legacy persists through his old social media posts, which remarkably resonate with many of the recent events unfolding in the country. “You literally have a tweet for every situation bro, they took you from us in the physical form but your spirit is alive!!!” Wrote L-Tido.
