Lynn Forbes Opens Up About Why She Finds Comfort In Visiting AKA’s Grave. It has been more than a year since the tragic death of AKA, who was shot and killed in Durban along with his friend Tibz. The rapper’s death has been deeply affecting his loved ones, including his mother Lynn Forbes, who has been struggling to cope with the loss.
Lynn Forbes took to Instagram to share her experience of regularly visiting AKA’s grave, finding solace in being able to visit her son at his resting place. In the post, she revealed that AKA told her in a dream that she must visit the grave often to update him on what’s happening in the world of the living and mostly in the life of his daughter Kairo Forbes.
“Visiting your grave has become easier to do. It brings me so much comfort, grounds me and gives me peace at the same time. In my dream, you asked me to visit often and enjoy this peaceful setting and you were right. Talking to you, updating you on what’s happening with Kairo, the family, anything I think you would want to know, makes me feel more connected to you,” wrote Lynn Forbes.
Glammy further expressed that she often finds solace in simply sitting at AKA‘s grave, reflecting and praying. She shared that she deeply misses him, and these visits have brought her moments of joy amidst the sorrow.
“Sometimes, I find comfort in just sitting quietly with you to think and pray. I miss you terribly but my heart is at peace. Visiting your grave has become a joyful and peaceful experience that brings me comfort and keeps your memory alive and strong,” she added.
