Blaq Diamond Express Heartfelt Condolences Following The Passing Of Malome Vector. Renowned South African music duo Blaq Diamond, has extended their deepest condolences to the family and friends of the late Malome Vector. The music industry was plunged into mourning following the untimely passing of the legendary artist.
Award-winning Sotho rapper Bokang Moleli, widely known as Malome Vector, tragically passed away in an accident on the N1 near the Koppies turn-off close to Kroonstad. The accident claimed two lives, including that of fellow artist LizwiWokuqala.
In a heartfelt statement released today, Blaq Diamond praised Malome Vector as a talented artist and a cherished brother in the music industry. The statement also honoured LizwiWokuqala, calling him a rising star who inspired many within the industry.
“It is with deep sorrow that we, Blaq Diamond express our heartfelt condolences to the families of our brothers LizwiWokuqala and Malome Vector and their music fans from Lesotho, South Africa and beyond.
“LizwiWokuqala was a rising star and a younger brother to us who inspired many with his music. Malome Vector was not only a talented musician but also a beloved brother and a cherished member of our musical family. His passion for music and his ability to create unforgettable memories through his art have left an indelible mark on all of us,” reads the statement.
In the statement, Blaq Diamond also expressed gratitude to their former record label Ambitiouz Entertainment for introducing them to Malome Vector. “We are eternally grateful to our former label for introducing us to the super talent Malome Vector. Together, we crafted music that transecned time, from “Early Morning,” “Dumelang,” “Price To Pa,” “Chillis,” to “Uhulumeni,” which will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
