Bravo Le Roux releases the ‘War Cry’

Bravo Le Roux’s latest single, ‘War Cry’ is now available across all digital music platforms. This track is a lead single off his upcoming deluxe edition of the critically acclaimed ‘Igazi, Iinyembezi, Nombilo’ album.

Produced by Shaney Jay, ‘War Cry’ is a song about a yearning for unity. “The sample on the song was intended to unite as it touches on family or DNA ties,” says  Bravo. “As people, we need to be reminded about how great we can be if we unite, and sing these songs for the rest of the world.”

The award-winning rapper is currently on his second Europe visit this year, where he will film a music video for ‘War Cry’. Earlier this year, the first trip saw him attend Milan Fashion Week.

Igazi, Iinyembezi, Nombilo recently celebrated its first anniversary on the 30th of June. Its deluxe edition, featuring a variety of artists and sounds, will be released later this year.

Sinesipho Peter, popularly known as Bravo Le Roux, is a rapper and an all-round entertainer. Bravo Le Roux got into the entertainment scene in 2019 and 2023 was his breakout year, which came with the success of his debut album, ‘Igazi, Inyembezi Nombilo.’

‘Igazi Iinyembezi Nombilo’ hit the number 1 spot on iTunes within 10 hours. The album further garnered over a million streams in two weeks. Featuring award-winning artists like Sjava and Ifani, the album continues to dominate the local music scene. Bravo Le Roux also graced the cover of Hype Magazine (Africa’s Biggest Hip Hop Magazine) and Club X Magazine.

The album intro song, ‘Idini’ is still dominating Tik Tok as the go to sound. Bravo Le Roux further showcased his talent with his performances at the Inkabi Zezwe Tour with Sjava and Big Zulu,The Springboks World Cup win celebration, Reebok Like We Never Left campaign activation and the Coke Studio Summer Sensation Event..

Tapping into more brand work, Bravo Le Roux partnered up with Sportscene as one of their Black Friday Sale stores and digital faces. He also partnered with Nedbank on a digital campaign and Cornerstone Institute Future Game Changer

School Tour Campaign. Stimorol jumped in as the official sponsor for the music video of the hit single ‘Umntu’ featuring Sjava. Nikon South Africa was eager to collaborate with Bravo on the creative music video for his other song titled’ Ekhaya’ featuring Digital Sangoma.

Bravo wrapped up the year 2023 by making the MTV Base South Africa Top 10 List  and the Johnnie Walker x Trace African next-gen African visionaries list.
