The documentary, which offers an intimate look into the making of AKA’s sophomore album Levels, premiered to widespread acclaim and emotional resonance among fans and peers alike. The doccie received mixed reactions from SA Hip Hop fans with one of the fans reaching out to Vth Season boss Raphael Benza with grievances stating that a lot of contributors to AKA’s Levels album were not featured in the documentary.

In response, Benza said that the recently released LevelsX documentary is just the tip of the iceberg as he promised more to come in celebration of AKA’s music legacy. “Thanks. We appreciate you watching…. There’s more to come. This is just the tip… We strive to add all contributors to more Tributes and Doccie of the Supa Mega…. Stay Tune !!” Benza said.

The documentary debuted on Channel O (DStv channel 320) on Sunday, June 30th at 5 pm. The doccie is also available on the official AKAWorldwide YouTube channel. It Featured an all-star cast and the short film explored how AKA’s music has defined an era.

Drawing from Raphael Benza’s statement, there are undoubtedly more initiatives on the horizon for the Megacy to anticipate, ensuring continued celebrations of the life of the South African rap icon Kiernan Forbes.
