Although Scumie has not disclosed the specific categories she is targeting, fans can anticipate her being a strong contender in several. The rapper is currently hard at work on her new album, which she aims to use as a springboard to reach the pinnacle of SA rap. With this project, Scumie hopes to solidify her place among the elite in the industry and make a lasting impact.

The SAHHA ceremony, which typically takes place in December, features performances by some of the biggest names in the industry, as well as the highly anticipated awards presentation. The South African Hip Hop Awards (SAHHA) are slated to occur this year before the annual Back To The City concert.

Speaking on Choppin’ It With Budha T, Rashid Kay mentioned that the SAHHA will be scheduled earlier than its usual December timeframe to accommodate Back To The City.

“So SA Hip Hop Awards are still gonna happen, new date. So what we planned is we do them earlier in the year instead of November or December so that we have enough time to organise Back To The City in October,” he said.
