The unexpected leak sparked a flurry of reactions from fans, who discovered that the song was a diss track aimed at Blxckie, with whom Lucasraps has had ongoing issues. On the contrary, Usimamane stated in a statement that there has been misuse of his vocals in the leaked song targeting a fellow musician.

“It is very disheartening to discover that there has been a misuse of Usimamane’s vocals on an unauthorized song targeting a fellow musician that has been leaked online whilst in possession of Big Qosh Music Group without Usimamane’s consent or knowledge,” reads the statement.

In the statement, Usimamane stated categorically that he made it clear to Lucasraps that he doesn’t want to get involved in his feud with the fellow artist. This stance led to the Cheque hitmaker turning down Lucasraps’ offer for a verse on a different track.

“The song which was leaked today, is a clear attack on Usimamane’s character and reputation. The unauthorized release has left Usimamane and his team feeling disrespected and disappointed because during the session they had clearly stated that they do not want any involvement in any feud between the fellow musicians. Which is why he had turned down a space offered to him for a verse on a different song with the same agenda and also declined the release of the current song in question after hearing what Lucaraps had to say.

The statement continued; “All Star Entity is calling on Big Qosh Music Group to take accountability for the song leaking in their possession and to apologize for the harm caused by the unauthorized record. Usimamane is also urging his fans to remain calm and not to engage in any negative behaviour towards Lucasraps or his team.

“I understand that that disagreement and creative differences are part of the music industry, but I will not be dragged into a public feud or engage in a war of words. Instead, I will focus on continuing to create positive and uplifting music that inspires my fans.”
