The renowned rapper enjoyed several hit songs during his time with Family Tree, but his departure from the label was far from amicable. This led some music fans to speculate that he might have been exploited at Cassper’s label, which they believe could explain his exit.

During his recent Q&A, Tshego clarified that Cassper Nyovest did not exploit him during his time at Family Tree. He emphasized that his departure was purely a business decision and not a personal matter. “I dont feel like Cass exploited me, I feel like during the time we worked together we worked together amazingly. The whole team was just putting on for each other doing the most,” he said.

The Pink Panther chanter added that Family Tree gave him the platform and the experience that he needed and also formed solid relationships with peers in the industry. “Family Tree gave me the platform that I needed, they gave me the experience that I needed and I met my brother Gemini Major. I met Nadia before that, but Nadia became my sister through that whole Family Tree process. So I’m really grateful for those two things.”

Tshego made it clear that there’s no bad blood between him and Cassper Nyovest, at least from his side. “Also Cass, no bad blood between myself and him, especially from my side you know business is business it has nothing to do with my personal relationship. So, no I dont feel like he exploited me,” he added.
