Fans of Usimamane are accustomed to the unexpected from the rising star, but this time, the surprise comes in the form of an unwelcome announcement. The highly anticipated music project that had fans buzzing with excitement has been postponed.
The rising Durban rapper who’s quickly becoming a sensation in the SA Hip hop scene has been making waves, especially with the success of his hit single, “Cheque.” Usimamane took to Instagram to announce a change of plans. He was originally set to release a new music project on Friday, but instead, he’ll be dropping a new single along with a music video.
“I know last week I posted that I have a new music coming out this Friday. I know some people get so worried, I know some people are gonna get disappointed, soon I will explain. I just want to put out that I was supposed to have new music coming out tomorrow, there’s still new music coming out tomorrow, but it’s no longer going to be a project. It’s gonna be a song with a video and I’m sure you are gonna like the song,” Usimamane said.
Following the announcement, Usimamane apologized to his fans and everyone eagerly anticipated his project, promising that he will explain soon. “I’m so sorry, hope everything makes sense soon I hope I explain it. So I have new music coming out tomorrow which is a song and a video and a tracklist,” he added.
